Gold-filled jewellery is not the same as plated. Plated jewellery has a very thin layer of gold which is electroplated over a base metal and will rub off over time. Filled jewellery is more long-wearing and when cared for properly will be part of your collection for a lifetime.

All rings of this style have been finished by hand rolling the stone in place to secure and ensure your stone will not dislodge. This means your setting may have evidence it is handmade with love. This is a part of the process and there is no other way than using our special hand rolling tool around your stone.

Gold-filled ring is a more dainty. delicate design and needs to be treated with care and protection. If this ring catches. it has the potential to bend. This is not a flaw but is just the way this setting has been created.
